Frequent Asked Questions
What is your role as Project Management Consultant (PMC)?
We act as the client’s representative to plan, coordinate, monitor, and control the project from award to handover, ensuring time, cost, quality, and risk are managed effectively.
Do you replace the contractor or consultants?
No. We work alongside existing contractors and consultants to align roles, close gaps, and ensure coordinated execution without disrupting contractual responsibilities.
When should Project Advisory be engaged?
Project Advisory is most effective at critical stages such as pre-award, post-award, during major scope changes, or when early warning signs of delay or cost escalation appear.
Is Project Advisory only for troubled projects?
No. While we are often engaged on high-risk or delayed projects, advisory services are equally valuable for validating strategies and strengthening control on new or complex projects.
What types of work programmes do you prepare?
We develop tender, baseline, recovery, mitigation, and Extension of Time (EOT) programmes that are logic-based, resource-aware, and contractually defendable.
How frequently do you update and report progress?
Progress tracking and reporting can be provided weekly, fortnightly, or monthly, depending on project needs and management requirements.
Do you prepare EOT submissions or only review them?
We do both. We prepare structured EOT submissions for contractors and independently verify EOT applications for clients or consultants.
How do you determine whether an EOT should be awarded?
We assess delay events based on cause-and-effect analysis, programme impact, responsibility allocation, and contractual entitlement, then provide a clear recommendation for or against the EOT award.
